Donors contributed $4,930 to the Hancock County Republican Party’s Political Party Fund, according to a campaign finance report filed by the party.
About $22,917 was brought forward from a previous finance report filed prior to the May election, so the fund had a total of about $27,847, according to the post-election report filed by the Friday deadline.
Expenses were listed at $5,188, leaving a post-election balance of about $22,658.
Individual candidates and campaign committees which had contributions or expenses of at least $1,000 were required to file post-election campaign finance reports with the Hancock County Board of Elections by Friday.
The fund is used to support Republican candidates in the November general election, GOP Chairman Jim Baker has said.
Contributions of at least $100 to the fund included: First Friday luncheons in April and May, $730; Pamela and John Beall, Findlay, $1,000; Cheryl and Larry Buckland Manley, Findlay, $1,000; David and Linda Spahr, Findlay, $1,000; Greg Cassidy, Fostoria, $100; Cliff and Diane Hite, Timothy Bechtol, Doug and Stephanie Brown, Charity and Scott Rauschenberg, all of Findlay, $150 each; Jody O’Brien, Grant Russel, Connie Sprague, Robert Sprague, James Benroth, all of Findlay, $100 each.
Expenses of at least $100 included: two First Friday luncheons catering and hall rental, about $818; American Legion Post 511, McComb, Buckeye Girls State, $275; Annett Hollington, party headquarters rent, $425; Annett Hollington, party headquarters rent, $425; The Bistro, catering, about $3,130.
