Donald Trump is making a big argument that Manafort’s dishonesty was in play way prior becoming Trump’s campaign manager. I find this argument very curious. Our president claims to hire only the best, yet he hired one of the most important managers of a political campaign without carefully investigating his background for any possible dishonest dealings — one that could have cast aspersions upon his presidential campaign. This is one of the most disingenuous explanations I have ever heard.

It is also disconcerting that a “top executive” would have been so lax as to hire someone with so much dubious business dealings for such an important job in a political campaign. This is further proof from Mr. Trump, himself, that he is not capable of making informed decisions and should not be president of our country.
